A house with tradition and history

This traditional and charming house is located right in the centre of Bad Goisern. The entrance to your accommodation is situated in a quiet, traffic-calmed church lane at the back of the house.

When booking, you have exclusive access to both floors. Depending on the number of guests booked, up to 7 bedrooms and around 200 m² of living space are available. The rooms are equipped with double beds, twin-bed options or single beds. All rooms are spacious, cosy and comfortably furnished.

The house is ideal for families or groups of up to 10 people.

Facilities and room layout

On the ground floor you will find:

  • a toilet
  • a washing machine
  • a dryer
  • storage space for bicycles, prams, skis and more
  • a courtyard with rubbish bins

The living and sleeping areas are located on the first and second floors.

First floor

Here you will find:

  • a living room with a small kitchenette
  • two bedrooms for up to 4 people
  • a bathroom
  • a separate toilet
  • exclusive access to the large outdoor terrace

Second floor

Here you will find:

  • a total of 4 bedrooms
  • a living room
  • a kitchen
  • a toilet
  • an additional washing area

Next to the large master bedroom is a cosy children’s room with a cool bunk bed for up to 2 children and/or a baby. A travel cot is also available if required. A baby high chair is provided as well.

Bathrooms and toilets

The house offers:

  • 3 toilets — one on each floor
  • 1 bathroom — on the first floor

In addition, 3 bedrooms have their own washing facilities, including a washbasin and mirrored cabinet.

Location and parking

During the summer months, the street where the entrance is located is used as a pedestrian zone.

A large free public car park is located very close by:

  • only 1 minute on foot
  • less than 100 metres away
  • Goisern Mitte car park, accessible via the B145

Thanks to its central location directly on the B145, the accommodation is an ideal starting point for activities in Bad Goisern, around Lake Hallstatt and throughout the Salzkammergut.

Perfect for summer and winter holidays

The ski areas Dachstein West, Gosau, Krippenstein, Loser, Feuerkogel and others can be reached within a short time. Ski touring directly in Bad Goisern is also possible.

The Salzkammergut region offers plenty to do, even in bad weather. In Bad Goisern itself, you will find:

  • museums
  • restaurants
  • bars

Other popular destinations include:

  • Hallstatt with its famous salt mine
  • the Dachstein Giant Ice Caves in Obertraun
  • nearby towns such as Bad Ischl, Bad Aussee and Gosau

If there is still time left, the day has been exhausting or the weather is not ideal, the house offers plenty of options for a cosy evening “at home” with friends or family.
